The third pop-up concert pops up on Sunday 21 March at the Schaudepot viewing area of the Kunsthaus Zug as part of the KunstCluster. Percussion, art, video and the launch of a book on Hauser’s Casa delle Masche creative venue in Piedmont all come together for the finale of the Fritz Hauser pop-up days in Zug. Produced in conjunction with the Theater Casino Zug, City Kirche Zug and Kunsthaus Zug.

Basle percussionist, composer and sound inventor Fritz Hauser is bringing his drum and percussion performance to audiences around the world. His idea-packed approach enables him to constantly create new soundscapes that are as surprising as they are unforgettable. His concert installations see traditional forms of music opened up for unlimited experiment. Complexity is combined with a light touch and a variety of styles, while humour and poetry unfold in special ways. The 2022 Swiss Music Prize-winner composes for solo percussion and groups, for chamber orchestras and choirs. Hauser is also well known in Zug, having created a piece for the Kunsthaus in 2013 entitled «Schraffurhaus Zug».
Three different venues in Zug – the City Church, the Theater Casino and the Schaudepot / Kunsthaus Zug will host pop-up concerts by and with Fritz Hauser and his fellow musicians.
