Brigitte Amrein

Brigitte Amrein works as a theatre educator and director in a wide variety of productions for young and adult audiences. She grew up in Lucerne and, after initial training as a teacher, completed her musical theatre training in Hamburg. She then worked as an assistant in children's theatre at TOBS Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn and in independent professional acting and musical theatre ensembles in Switzerland and Germany. In 2017 she completed the MAS in Cultural Management at the University of Basel. She regularly works as a freelance director and develops theatre concepts. Her theatre work has been awarded several times, including the 2021 Dance Scholarship of the Landis & Gyr Foundation. Brigitte Amrein has been working as a educator mediator at Theater Casino Zug since September 2023.
