MUMMENSCHANZ is saying «Adieu!» After 55 years of performances, the legendary Swiss mask theatre company MUMMENSCHANZ is going on a grand farewell tour. The troupe has been delighting audiences throughout the world since 1972 with their unique artistry that contains no words, music or stage sets, making them poetic, timeless and universally approachable.
«Adieu!», conceived by Floriana Frassetto, combines highlights from over five decades of MUMMENSCHANZ, featuring iconic figures, bizarre objects and a few new surprises to take the audience on a journey full of poetry, gentle comedy and magic. «I want to show people our creative universe one last time in all its facets and provide a counterpoint to all the noise outside the theatre,» Frassetto says of this grand finale. The result is a moving experience for anyone aged six and above, and the final opportunity to see this living piece of theatrical history here in Switzerland.
