For over 10 years now, our English Stand-up Comedy has been a regular source of laughter. Even if you’ve just arrived in Zug, while in the Theater Casino Zug you can consider yourself a local or at least get in touch with some real Swiss, have a good laugh together and enjoy the local curiosity about British humour.
The fish and chips are produced locally but à la British, while the beer and the comedians are the freshest, finest imports that can be mustered. Most important is the audience: a true melting pot of nations worldwide.

Maureen Younger
Maureen is frank, fast, feisty, sharp and engaging – honest humour with attitude! She works as a stand up comedian and compere all around the UK and abroad and has even gigged in German! As an experienced compere, Maureen is known for her quick wit and sharp audience interaction. In the UK she is one of the few (if only) comedians who performs regularly at mainstream, urban, gay and Asian comedy nights. Her gigs have ranged from being the support act for the entire West End run of The Naked Magicians at the Trafalgar Studios as well as one of the warm up acts for Puppetry of the Penis to performing at the Barbican alongside Arthur Smith; supporting Shazia Mirza on tour; to being one of the acts at the Jamaica vs The World gigs at the Shepherds Bush Empire. (Maureen was representing the latter category!)
Adam Fields
Amsterdam based British comedian Adam Fields is an international funny man who has charmed audiences in numerous countries from Norway to South Africa, and from the USA to Indonesia. A lively and visual comic with well-crafted routines that consistently induce hard and fast laughter. His style is a curious mix of sophisticated English and neurotic Jew, with a dash of ‘Crazy Dutch’. Adam has been a professional stand-up since 1998 and is a regular headline comedian in the European circuit. He has had successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and regularly supports some of the biggest names in standup comedy including Jack Dee, Marc Maron and Jim Gaffigan.
