Concert for Mother's Day

Back in 2005 as a 20-year-old, Rafał Blechacz won the Chopin piano competition in Warsaw, catapulting himself onto the global stage. Promoters around the world were flocking to sign up the "Chopin-winner". His reply was always thank you, but no. The fledgling pianist chose to stick to a modest schedule, preferring to concentrate on quietly building up his repertoire, adding layers of depth to it. Fans the world over, therefore, are waiting with baited to finally see Blechacz play live. And not just Chopin, but Mozart, Beethoven and Schumann. Personally, we're already counting the days…
