Popcorn-Opera

Two years ago, Grisons musician Bibi Vaplan experienced her own Big Bang moment, and the Popcorn Universe came into being in the depths of her heart. Together with a variety of musicians and artists, she has concocted and expanded this huge, colourful universe in which she now exists.

On board the rocket ship Xalvadora, she and her friends explore life in outer space and meet fantastic beings, extraordinary phenomena and wonderful planets. In this unique atmosphere, an untamed lust for life explodes into art and music in the hearts of the different creatures that appear.

In a variety of Plop Parties, each one as colourful and surprising as the last, the Popcornauts tell us tales of their Popcorn Universe, until the whole journey culminates in Octobre 2023 in the world premiere of a multidisciplinary stage show entitled the «Popcorn Opera», here at the Theater Casino Zug. Come and enjoy a blend of live performance and online gaming, where you too can get to go pop. Don’t forget your smartphones!
