Current COVID-19 protection measures
From Mon 13 September 2021, the 3G rule will apply to all events at Theater Casino Zug: recovered, tested, vaccinated.
Guests who already have a ticket for an upcoming performance will be contacted by the ticket office. If ticket sales have not yet reached them, you are also welcome to contact them directly if you have any questions:
A Covid certificate is required for all performances for all patrons aged 16 and over until further notice. Please have your Covid certificate and ID ready when you visit the theatre. We will check the certificates at the main entrance. Your performance tickets will be checked separately when you enter the performance space. If you visit the Theater Casino Zug restaurant independently of a performance, your certificates will be checked directly in the restaurant. Certificates are not required on the restaurant terrace.
Please arrive one hour before the performance to allow enough time for the certificate check. The auditorium doors will open half an hour before the performance begins. You can get a drink in the Bar & Lounge before the performance, which may also be consumed in the foyer.
Until further notice, masks are no longer compulsory on the premises of an Event at Theater Casino Zug. If you wish to visit the Theater Casino Zug independently of a visit to a restaurant or event, such as a visit to the ticket office, there is no certificate requirement, but there is a mask requirement.
Young people between the ages of 12 and 16 are exempt from the mask requirement on certified occasions.
The restaurant is open at the usual times. Please check these on our website before your visit. In the Bar & Lounge you can also get a drink before the performance, which can now also be drunk in the foyer again. For performances with an interval, there is once again a visitors' bar in the foyer.
- Children/young people under 16 do not need to show a certificate when visiting.
IIf you bought tickets for a performance of the Theater- und Musikgesellschaft Zug before the FOPH's decision of 8 September 2021 and do not wish to or cannot attend the performance under the new conditions, we will, on request, refund your money in the same way as you bought the ticket. If ticket sales have not yet reached you after the new decision and you want to return your ticket, please feel free to contact us yourself:
As of now, all seats are on sale again. Please continue to adhere to the previous hygiene regulations.
Our premises are continuously cleaned and disinfected. Disinfectant dispensers are available at Theater Casino Zug. Please disinfect your hands when entering the house and follow the general hygiene measures of the FOPH.
Your contact details will be recorded when you book your ticket in our webshop or when you purchase your ticket on site. If a COVID 19 case is reported to us in the following two weeks, your data will be passed on to the cantonal health authorities for contact tracing. Each time a booking is made, a seat on the right and left is automatically blocked to ensure the distance to the next booking.
At events with free admission your contact data will be recorded on site. These will not be used for advertising purposes and will be destroyed after two weeks.
The box office opens 60 minutes before the performance begins. If you wish to purchase a ticket spontaneously, we ask you to be at the box office in time before the performance, as we will record your contact details for contact tracing, which may take a little more time. Cash payment is still possible, however, we prefer cashless payment for reasons of hygiene (Master, Visa, Maestro, Postcard, Twint, Pro Zug card).
Please treat yourself and others with the respect this extraordinary situation requires. Please stay at home if you experience cold symptoms or feel ill. If you have been in a COVID-19 risk area in the last 14 days, we ask you to refrain from visiting.
We thank you for your support, your understanding and look forward to a great season with you!
