England has long set the standards in terms of classical music, and when they speak, we listen. So when «Gramophone» magazine put Carl Rütti up alongside the great composers and compared his Requiem to Gabriel Fauré's, who were we to argue? «BBC Music Magazine» also gave a recording of this work a four-star rating, and now the Chor Audite Nova Zug will be performing it with the Zuger Sinfonietta. Classical music fans in Zug should thank their lucky stars – all four of them.
